Hello there!

Welcome to my little corner of the internet! I am Alicia Fitts, and I am a young woman that wears many hats. I affectionately refer to myself as an “employed-preneur”. Why? Because I love my career, but I know there is more that I should be doing at a greater capacity to help others and that is why I created Alicia Fitts Consulting.

I am the Assistant Vice President of Business Development and Community Relations for Peach State Federal Credit Union. Throughout my career in business development, I’ve been instrumental in developing and implementing community relation initiatives and related project management in the following Counties: Richmond County, Aiken County, Columbia County, and Burke County.

I’m often told that I am an enthusiastic, friendly, high-performing individual. I am also serious about my career and business. I identify as a deeply analytical professional with a passion for both helping others and driving business growth through encouraging financial discipline and creativity.

I am proud to hold more than 10 years of experience working in the credit union industry. I also have human resources experience from a previous employer. Over the years, I’ve developed a love and passion for guiding individuals on a financially responsible path. I often share methods that I practice in my personal life to help others on their journey.

I came to a crossroads within my finances and eagerly needed to create additional streams of income to accommodate my future lifestyle goals. I am well aware that I am not alone with this thinking process. According to a 2021 survey conducted by Bankrate, 45% of women in the United States are interested in creating passive income streams. The survey also found that among those women who were interested in generating passive income, the most popular methods were investing in the stock market, real estate investing, and starting a business. Another survey conducted by Gallup in 2018 found that 40% of American women who were married with children were more likely to have a side job or, business than those who were not. These results speak to my desire to utilize my skillsets and expertise to assist women like me with their business development and marketing strategies.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from Grand Canyon University. Throughout my career, I’ve fostered some great relationships with my colleagues and individuals within my community. As a young business woman, I am incredibly grateful to God for the many accolades and recognition I’ve received in my career over the years.

Though being a career woman is wonderful. I indeed enjoy my equally important role as a mother and wife, residing with my family in Georgia. I am intentional about nurturing my high-drive personal nature and overtime I’ve adopted a healthy and active lifestyle. The energy powering my personal life is equally evident in my aspirations toward my professional future to help my clients develop and elevate their brands.

There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.”– Colin Powell
